As I sit and drink my coffee early this morning and smoke I can’t help but think about what’s going on in this country today .
I am a big person on non-judgment. I kind of feel like people are turning this whole situation around. The abuse by the police doesn’t necessarily have to be against black people. Videos are now coming out of police beating Mexican women ,white women, black women. There’s also videos coming out of police beating black men,Mexican men. What we don’t see is them beating and killing white men. What I also don’t understand is why are these videos just now coming out?. Is all these police losing their minds and doing this now? Or why are these videos just now coming out? No violence is OK! What are we teaching our kids? As a child of abuse I have to say that all of this is just teaching violence! I never felt like I had a safe place to turn to. And now we’re leaving it to our kids. They are going to feel the same way. We can’t even turn to the police because we don’t know if we’re putting our own lives in danger.
All of these things come to my head with all of the recent thoughts that I have from my mental illness. I do like Dr. Phil says and I unplug from the news and any news on social media as much as I can, I do not interact with the outside world as much as everyone else due to my anxiety and PTSD .I don’t hear all of the news. My therapist have always said that the news is mood altering for me.
No matter how much you try to avoid what’s going on in society today you’re going to hear about it ,feel the vibes from it .Its going to come to you .It doesn’t even matter. Everything that is going on is affecting everyone! My children are black children. Yes they do have Caucasian in them ,but their bloodline is black. My son has been profiled from a county his whole life. So bad that he moved to a whole different state.Its been going on .It is not new stuff! What’s new is accountability! The people are now holding these officers as criminals! They are holding them accountable! These days are ridiculous! These officers should be tried by Jury and convicted. Not protected! This has been going on .Its not new stuff! What’s new is accountability! The people are now holding these officers and criminals! They are holding them accountable! These days are ridiculous! These officers should be tried by Journey jury and convicted. Not protected! When we call And ask for help and we end up losing our lives or our loved ones lives, we are not protected! So why are we protecting them?
I see on social media all of the hate and anger that is coming out of people that I never even knew felt this type of way. I understand it all I really do because my family is multi racial. Once again I’m going to have to say who are our kids going to turn to if they don’t have someone to protect them when their parents can’t or won’t ?
This is not how things are supposed to be! I have family in law-enforcement. And I have to say that not all law-enforcement is bad. But by God there is some bad ones out there. I have had officers harass me and I am Italian and white my kids are black. My whole family is mixed.I just don’t want everybody to turn this into a big race war and have us angry and fighting and shooting and killing each other. When it’s not ya fighting against each other. We are protecting ourselves against abuse! That’s what it is!
Anyway I just thought I would share my thoughts with y’all today that is racing in my head. And maybe I will come back and let’s talk about this more later I’m gonna try to enjoy my coffee and find answers to all this madness. Y’all have a blessed day feel free to leave any comments below.
