I think it’s important for people to see and understand that DREADLOCKS do not mean dirty . My dreads I have had over 12 yrs and only trimmed them 3 times . But they are a symbol of strength . My body and mind may break down or feel weak at times but my dreads will forever be strong for my spirit . So when people look at me with long dreads and try to pass judgement I just laugh . They don’t know my life story .
